About this tool
This free online tool extracts pages from a PDF — pick exactly the pages you want and download them as a new PDF, all in your browser with no upload and no watermark. Select pages visually by clicking their thumbnails, or type page numbers and ranges. Because everything runs on-device, your document stays completely private.
How to use
- Choose or drag in a PDF file.
- Click page thumbnails to select them, or type ranges like 1-3, 5.
- Click Extract to build a new PDF from the selected pages.
- Download the extracted file.
Extract vs. split
Use this tool to pull a chosen set of pages into one new PDF. If instead you want to break a PDF into many separate files — one per page or in fixed-size chunks — use the Split PDF tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF page extractor free?
Yes — it's a completely free online tool to pull pages out of a PDF, with no sign-up, no watermark, and no limits.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read and processed entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device. It's safe for private and sensitive documents.
How do I choose which pages to extract?
Click the page thumbnails to select or deselect them, or type page numbers and ranges like '1-3, 5, 8' in the Pages box. The two stay in sync.
What order are the extracted pages in?
Pages come out in their original document order. If you need a custom order, use a PDF that's already arranged, or combine this with a merge step.
Do the thumbnails mean my file was uploaded?
No. Thumbnails are rendered locally in your browser from the file you chose. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What if thumbnails don't appear?
On some PDFs or older devices the preview may not render. You can still select pages by number in the Pages box and extract normally.
Does extracting reduce quality?
No. The selected pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
